Calibration of fuel dispensing nozzles

Both calibration/verification methods for dispensing nozzles are performed using the volumetric method by checking the accuracy of the dispenser’s volumeter with standard provers.

For the calibration/verification of fuel dispensing nozzles (pistols), a set of standard provers mounted on a trailer is used to facilitate transport to gas station locations. The trailer is also equipped with complete supporting equipment for more efficient work, such as additional hoses for emptying the standard provers and returning fuel to the tank, a transfer pump in Ex execution, and more.

Two teams, consisting of trained and responsible personnel, and two sets of standard provers operate on these tasks, enabling simultaneous calibration/verification at two locations. This allows our clients to entrust us with the responsibility for mandatory verification deadlines.

For the calibration/verification of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) dispensing nozzles, we also use a special and dedicated 20-liter standard prover (the so-called “bombola”). Although working with a standard prover for gas requires a lot of additional equipment (compressor for emptying the prover, additional hoses, etc.), the reason for using a standard prover in gas calibration/verification is that it is much more reliable and precise than the comparative flow meters available on the market in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
